19th century Chippendale Directoire style ladies desk, open fretwork gallery with corner gilded winged nymphs, center carved urn with foliate draped swags above stipled panel adorned with bows; the gadrooned edge top above long drawer featuring carved arabesques and Rococo brass pulls, single drawer on each side below with arabesques and foliate carving( right hand drawer with fitted interior); stiles with ''fish scale'' and bellflower decoration, carved corner brackets supporting tapered legs with marlboro feet; the sides with carved arabesques and foliate, corner brackets supporting the tapered legs.
