Early 19th century Regency breakfront bookcase, the pediment with inlaid brass medallions and central cartouche with inlaid brass ornament (these features repeat in the lower section), the glass doors with individual panes, the outer cases with interior drawer, all with adjustable shelves. The lower center section with “butler's” style fall front revealing central prospect door surrounded by interior drawers and cubby holes, green leather insert with gold tooling, three long drawers below, the outer sections with bowed ends having one top drawer above a faux “three drawer” door opening to cupboard with one shelf, plinth base, brass pulls not original.
