English painted and gilt open architectural bookcase with stop fluted pilasters capped by carved ionic capitals. It has a dental molded cornice and a gilt fluted frieze; gilt floral decoration on the large drawer and carved with a heavy cast bronze handle. The interior is painted robin's egg blue.
